Negative opinions and data about Illinois are being spread like wildfire these days. Much of it is one-sided and often misleading.

Without question, we have problems in Illinois that we need to solve. My career in quality and process engineering has taught me that to do so,  we need to see the whole picture and understand all the data, or we risk “fixing” the wrong problem or creating a worse situation. This is the first in a series of posts offering data and perspectives you aren’t hearing from the naysayers.
